Egon Harig Portrait In 1968, the foundation of EGON HARIG GmbH by Mr. Egon Harig in Hamburg was the starting signal for a rapidly establishing company in the field of fire detection and special technology.

Coming from the maritime world, Mr. Egon Harig brought founding verve, innovative spirit and in-depth expertise to the development and production of the first UV flame detectors.

Firmensitz Today, EGON HARIG GmbH, with headquarters and factory in Oststeinbek, on the Hamburg city limits, is a third-generation owner-managed company and has specialized in fire detection and extinguishing systems for over 50 years. Since 2002, we have been dedicated to the use of the innovative aerosol extinguishing agents. Professionalism in customer service with the values of fairness, transparency, and responsibility are the basis of our success.

Our main activities include the development and production of electrical, electromechanical, and electronic products for fire detection, fire extinguishing, and special technology as well as customized system solutions for our customers.
